The renovation included the installation of new flooring throughout, along with new skirting boards, architraves, and internal doors to create a seamless, contemporary finish across the home. Structural alterations and repairs were undertaken where required, ensuring the property was brought up to a high standard both aesthetically and structurally.

A new gas central heating system was installed to improve energy efficiency, reliability, and overall comfort. One of the standout features of the project was the conversion of an existing upstairs bedroom into a beautifully finished modern bathroom, creating additional practicality and significantly enhancing the property's layout.

HJC was appointed as a specialist carpentry and joinery contractor to deliver a range of bespoke timber works as part of this high-end contemporary extension on the Malone Road.

Working closely with the main contractor, our team carried out complex structural and finishing joinery works, including the construction of bespoke roof support elements to accommodate the architectural design of the extension. Particular attention was given to the roof overhang details, where custom timber components were manufactured and installed to provide the necessary structural support while maintaining the clean, modern appearance of the building.

A key feature of the project was the installation of a bespoke external timber batten façade, carefully designed and fitted to create a striking architectural feature that complements the contemporary aesthetic of the property. Precision-crafted timber rafters were also manufactured and adapted to integrate seamlessly with the structural steel framework, overcoming challenging site conditions and ensuring a high-quality finish throughout.
